Maintenance Electrician

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled full time Electrician at our Scone Plant.  We are seeking a passionate, energetic individual who is committed to providing effective professional service. This role is responsible for providing electrical maintenance across the plant where required.  This is a full time position with the potential to earn $60,000 - $80,000 or more with additional allowances and/or overtime. Wages are paid according to organisational EBA-Industrial Agreement.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

·         Ensure the availability, reliability and capability of the plant assets

·         Monitor, follow up and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks

·         Continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems

·         Communication with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues

·         Understand and implement quality control techniques

·         Proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance

·         Be actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair

 

About you:

·         An electrical trade qualification is essential

·         Two (2) years’ min experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage

·         A thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices

·         Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures

·         Able to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude

·         Highly developed time management and multi-tasking skills

·         Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift.
