Electrician

About the role

Counterparts Electrical Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced residential Electrician to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and components across a variety of commercial and residential projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Overhead/Underground connections to new houses/townhouses/apartments

2. Rough In/Fit Off of new residential dwellings

3. Commissioning & Testing

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety regulations

5. Providing excellent customer service to clients

6. Maintaining detailed records and documentation

7. Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors as required

What we're looking for

1. Fully qualified Electrician with a valid QLD unrestricted electrical licence

2. Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Electrician in residential

3. Strong technical and problem-solving skills

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Good communication and customer service skills

7. Energetic, Presentable & Professional personality

8. Strong knowledge of current electrical standards and practices

9. Will be required to have basic set of tools

10. Solar experience (Not essential)

This is a permanent, full-time position with immediate start available. However, flexible start dates can be negotiated for the right applicant. The position is start and finish at our warehouse in Baringa. The hours are from 6.00am to 2pm, but availability is sometimes required beyond those times. Occasional Saturday work is available but is never compulsory.
