About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Rope Access Painter / Technician to join our growing team. The role involves exterior painting, maintenance, and remedial works on high-rise and difficult-to-access buildings, carried out safely and efficiently using rope access techniques.
Key Duties
Perform high-rise and difficult-access painting works using rope access techniques
Prepare surfaces (washing, sanding, scraping, filling, priming) before application
Apply paint systems including primers, undercoats, and topcoats to various surfaces
Conduct high-pressure washing of building facades and roofs
Treat surfaces for mould, fungi, and other contaminants prior to painting
Carry out minor repairs (e.g., patching, sealing, and rust treatment) as required
Inspect, maintain, and use rope access equipment safely and in compliance with regulations
Follow company safety procedures and ensure all work meets quality standards
Complete daily work logs and report progress to supervisors
Assist team members with rope access rigging, setup, and pack down
Key Skills & Requirements
IRATA Level 1 (minimum) or equivalent rope access certification
Trade qualification in painting and decorating (or extensive experience)
Strong knowledge of paint systems, surface preparation, and application methods
Experience in exterior building maintenance and remedial works
Ability to work at heights safely and confidently
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
