About the Role

Designer Plastering is seeking experienced Commercial Plasterers to join our growing team based in Ballarat, Victoria.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects throughout regional Victoria. Successful applicants will typically work away from home Monday to Friday, with accommodation, travel, meals and allowances provided.

We are looking for motivated tradespeople who take pride in their work, work well within a team environment, and are committed to delivering quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of plasterboard wall and ceiling systems

• Setting and finishing plasterboard to a high standard

• Construction of metal stud wall framing

• Installation of suspended ceiling systems

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

• Working safely and efficiently on commercial construction sites

• Collaborating with project managers, supervisors and fellow tradespeople to meet project deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial plastering

• Experience with metal stud framing and suspended ceiling systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

• White Card (essential)

• Current Driver's Licence

• EWP, Working at Heights and other construction tickets advantageous

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused attitude
