Leading Hand Painter – Sunshine Coast

A List Painting Services is seeking an experienced Leading Hand Painter to join our growing team on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, runs a clean and organised site, and can confidently lead a crew while maintaining strong communication with both staff and clients.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Running residential and light commercial painting projects

- Leading and mentoring painters on site

- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment

- Communicating with clients throughout projects

- Tracking job progress and labour hours

- Managing stock levels, materials and site requirements

- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget

- Reporting directly to the business owner

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 5 years painting experience

- Previous experience leading a crew

- Strong knowledge of painting products, coatings and application methods

- Excellent preparation and finishing skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to read and follow job specifications

- Highly organised and reliable

- Current driver's licence

- White Card

- Certificate III Painting qualification required

- Minimum 3 years crew management experience required
