Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret drawings, figuring out exactly what needs to get done, from material lists and measurements down to the small details.

Prep your surfaces correctly, so they are clean, level, and prime so you are setting your work up for success from the start.

Mix up adhesives, mortars, and cements by the book, making sure everything is just right before you get to work.

Cut tiles to fit every space, corner, and odd-shaped spot, always using the right tools and the smoothest techniques.

Set, grout, and finish tiles so they look sharp, cleaning off any leftovers so the final look is spotless.

Replace broken or outdated tiles carefully, keeping damage to a minimum and quality high.

Apply waterproofing where needed, giving walls and floors lasting protection and sticking to all required standards.

Line up every tile with precision, double-checking spacing so the finished project looks as good as it works.

Follow all appropriate health and safety rules.

Stay on top of your schedule so every deadline is met, every time.

Qualifications and Experience

Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent qualification)

Key attributes you will bring to the role will include an excellent work ethic, strong customer service and communication skills, as well as being an excellent team player. You are organised and understand the need to achieve strict timelines and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise work to achieve key directives.
