Allied Construction Services is seeking 3 experienced Mechanical Fitters for an immediate start on a major industrial project in Yatala, Queensland.
Successful applicants will be working alongside a specialist instrumentation contractor on the installation of instrumentation equipment throughout a new glass production facility and associated utility services infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for fitters looking for consistent hours, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work on a large-scale industrial construction project.
About the Role:
Working under the direction of the client's installation team and site supervision, you will assist with the installation, mounting, and commissioning support of instrumentation equipment throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and mounting of instrumentation equipment and associated supports
Mechanical assembly and installation works
Reading and interpreting drawings and installation documentation
Assisting instrumentation technicians and project personnel as required
Working safely within an active construction environment
Maintaining high quality workmanship standards
Compliance with site safety systems, SWMS and permit requirements
Project Details:
Location: Yatala, QLD
Duration: Approximately 8 Weeks
Immediate Start Available
Monday to Friday – 10 Hour Days
Saturday – 8 Hour Days
Approx. 58 Hours Per Week
Essential Requirements:
Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
Construction White Card
Current Driver's Licence
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work within a team environment
Instrumentation installation experience
Desirable Qualifications:
Working at Heights
Confined Space Entry
EWP Licence
Forklift Licence
Previous industrial construction experience
Manufacturing, process plant or heavy industrial project experience
