About The Role

This hybrid role combines hands-on electrical work, project management, and account management responsibilities.

You will oversee insurance restoration projects from initial attendance through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will become the key point of contact for clients, insurers, builders, and other stakeholders while helping drive the continued growth of the division.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend insurance restoration and domestic electrical works

• Carry out fault finding, inspections and damage assessments

• Prepare scopes of works and quotations

• Manage projects from commencement through to completion

• Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors

• Liaise with insurers, builders, clients and stakeholders

• Manage project timelines and budgets

• Maintain compliance and project documentation

• Build and maintain client relationships

• Identify opportunities to grow the domestic insurance division

• Ensure a high standard of workmanship and customer service

About You

You're an experienced domestic electrician who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and building relationships.

You may already be running your own business and looking for a more sustainable pathway, or you may be a senior electrician ready to take the next step into leadership and management.

Essential Requirements

• Current QLD Electrical Licence

• Extensive domestic electrical experience

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong organisational and time management abilities

• Current Australian Driver's Licence

• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions

Highly Regarded

• Previous insurance restoration experience

• Solar Accreditation / SAA Accreditation

• Split System Air Conditioning Licence

• Experience preparing quotations and estimates

• Project management experience

• Account management experience

• Experience leading teams or running your own business

• Understanding of insurance claims and restoration processes
