About the role
Simmons Civil Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters and Concreters to join our growing team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time opportunity for skilled tradespeople to contribute to the construction of major projects within the region.
What you'll be doing
Interpret plans and engineered drawings
Construct complex formwork, tie mesh and steel cages ensuring quality parameters are met
Place and finish concrete within heavy industry
Use the latest repair methods for concrete remediation projects
Install large structures, bollards, buildings on-site
Collaborate with the broader construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
Adhere to site specific work health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
Carpentry, steelfixing or concreting certificate or equivalent experience
Demonstrated expertise in formwork construction and/or concrete placement
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
Current white card and open manual drivers licence
