About the role

Ultra Tune Hawthorn is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle Mechanic) to join our team in Hawthorn East, VIC 3123. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of light vehicles, ensuring our customers receive high-quality service.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, repair and service a diverse range of light vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles
Perform general maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine tune-ups and tyre rotations
Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and order parts as required
What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
Certificate III Automotive qualification is required for this position
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify vehicle issues
Working knowledge of automotive tools, equipment and safety procedures
Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
Current full driver's licence is required for this role
