Industrial Electrician – A Grade / Special Class

Melbourne (West & Southeastern Suburbs) | Casual or Permanent | $69–90 per hour casual.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising a wide range of industrial equipment and automated systems. The work is hands‑on, varied, and suited to electricians who enjoy problem‑solving and working both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration on site equipment

• Diagnose faults and carry out continuous improvement activities

• Manage spare parts inventory when required

• Monitor equipment performance and guide client staff on correct operation

• Analyse control system data for quality control, modification, and calibration

• Work autonomously or collaboratively to resolve maintenance issues

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as needed

• Coordinate with off‑site technical support to achieve optimal machine performance

• Complete both corrective and preventative maintenance tasks

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures
