Boilermaker immediate start

About the role

Tetris Group is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This is a casual position that will see you play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance to support our production goals.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions

• Perform routine inspections, servicing and repairs to keep equipment running smoothly

• Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain high levels of operational efficiency

• Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken and regularly report on equipment performance

• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent

• Any metal fabrication trade qualification will be accepted as meeting the minimum requirement

• Fabricator trade qualification is specifically acceptable as meeting the minimum requirement

• Extensive experience (5+ years) working as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Exactly 5 years of boilermaker experience is required as the minimum for this position

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify mechanical issues

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools and workshop equipment

• Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and best practices

• Valid work visa or Australian work rights are acceptable for this position
