FIFO Roof Plumber

The Opportunity

Location: Regional WA (FIFO from Perth)
Roster: 2 Weeks On / 1 Week Off

We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Roof Plumber to join our camp maintenance and refurbishment team servicing remote mine sites across Regional WA.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a remote environment, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

About the Role

• Carry out roof plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance across mine camp facilities and site infrastructure.

• Inspect, fault-find and repair roofing systems including leaks, storm damage and general deterioration.

• Install, repair and maintain:

  • Metal roofing systems

  • Flashings

  • Gutters and downpipes

  • Roof penetrations

  • Roof drainage systems

  • Cladding and associated roof plumbing components

• Complete refurbishment works including accommodation upgrades, maintenance repairs and building improvements.

• Undertake roof inspections and identify preventative maintenance requirements.

• Assist with general building maintenance tasks across camp facilities when required.

• Work collaboratively with plumbers, carpenters and site maintenance teams to complete scheduled works.

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently to minimise impact to site operations.

• Maintain strong safety compliance, housekeeping and site standards at all times.

Requirements

• Qualified Roof Plumber (Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent).

• Construction White Card.

• Working Safely at Heights certification.

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

• Ability to work safely and confidently on roofs and elevated areas.

• Physically fit and able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.

• High Risk Work Licence (EWP preferred).

• Machinery experience and additional operating tickets (advantageous but not essential).

• Previous FIFO, mining or remote maintenance experience (highly regarded).
