Senior Carpenter Joiner Cabinet Maker

Creative Construction Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join CCS Studio. This is a senior hands on role suited to someone who enjoys high quality bespoke work, problem solving and working across a variety of unique projects including commercial fit outs, council projects, event activations, custom fabrication and film/theatre set construction.

Main tasks

• Manufacture and install high quality carpentry, joinery and cabinetry items

• Carry out workshop fabrication including cutting, assembly and finishing of bespoke components

• Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications to accurately deliver projects

• Work across both workshop and onsite installations as required

• Plan and manage tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and within project deadlines

• Identify and resolve issues during fabrication and installation using practical problem solving

• Maintain high standards of workmanship, accuracy and attention to detail

• Assist in maintaining workshop organisation, cleanliness and operational efficiency

• Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers and clients where required

• Support junior team members and contribute to a positive and productive team environment

• Assist in improving workshop systems, processes and workflow

• Follow all WHS requirements and maintain safe work practices

Other Duties

• Provide support to the team as required across workshop and onsite activities

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and communication

• Assist with maintaining a positive, productive and respectful team environment

• Be flexible in supporting changing project requirements and business needs

• Carry out additional duties as reasonably required to support project delivery and business operations
