Mechanical Fitter 

Location: Tennyson, QLD
Pay rate:$50–$60 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tennyson. This is a hands-on, site-based trade role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining plant reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems
  • Install, assemble, and commission mechanical equipment
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
About You
  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to workplace health & safety practices
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
