About the role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Painter to join our team at cornerpainting' in Launceston, Tasmania. As a Painter, you will be responsible for the full scope of painting work, from preparation to the final finish. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be a part of a growing, dynamic company committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and applying primers or undercoats
Applying paint to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trims, and exteriors
Mixing and matching paint colours to achieve the desired finish
Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout the painting process
Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Painter, preferably in the commercial or residential sectors
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials
Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting or related trades
