About the Role This position plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance and modification of gas production infrastructure across field operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient fitting and assembly of gas wellhead equipment, including spool work, valves, pipework, cable tray systems and associated production facilities.
Working as part of an experienced field team, you will carry out mechanical fitting activities on wellheads, gathering systems and production equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and operational reliability.
The role will involve interpreting drawings and specifications, conducting equipment inspections, performing maintenance and supporting brownfield and greenfield project activities.
Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain and modify gas wellhead and production equipment.
- Assemble and fit spool work, valves, flanges, pipework and associated mechanical components.
- Install and support cable tray systems and production facility infrastructure.
- Perform maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on gas gathering and production assets.
- Execute disconnection and reconnection activities associated with drill rig workover and intervention operations
- Perform mechanical installation, modification, and upgrade works on wellhead facilities and associated gas production infrastructure
- Coordinate, prepare, and manage Permit to Work (PTW) requirements to ensure safe and efficient execution of field activities
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project and client requirements.
- Support commissioning, shutdown and maintenance activities across field operations.
