About The Role

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and responsibility. You'll be trusted to manage your jobs from start to finish while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.

Your day-to-day work may include:

  • Arriving on site and assessing the scope of works (whether a small maintenance job or ongoing build)

  • Investigating plumbing issues and diagnosing faults

  • Problem-solving and identifying practical solutions with the team

  • Planning and coordinating rough-in and fit-off works

  • Organising and sourcing materials required for jobs

  • Completing works efficiently while meeting time and budget expectations

  • Communicating professionally with clients, builders and other trades

  • Managing your jobs through our job management software: taking photos, documenting progress and recording job notes

  • Preparing simple sketches and plans when required

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and professional worksite and vehicle

  • Delivering quality workmanship that reflects the standards of the SXP brand

We're looking for someone who can think ahead, take ownership of their work, and represent the business professionally on site.

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate IV in Plumbing, Drainage & Gas Fitting

  • Current NSW Driver Licence

  • White Card

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems and materials

  • Ability to work independently/ with a team and manage time effectively

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Honest, reliable, proactive with a strong work ethic

  • Clean and tidy with an eye for detail

  • Pride in delivering quality workmanship

  • Team players who want to work alongside good people and enjoy coming to work
