Senior Service Electrician – Residential & Commercial

BREC is a leading electrical service provider, known for delivering high-quality electrical solutions across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Service Electrician capable of working in a senior role within our service team.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with clients, and can work autonomously while supporting and guiding others when required.

The Role

As a Senior Service Electrician at BREC, you will be responsible for a wide range of service and small project works across residential and commercial sites. You will be trusted to manage jobs independently, represent the company professionally, and ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting across a variety of service jobs

• Installation and upgrading of switchboards, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting

• Ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and relevant standards

• Completing small residential projects from start to finish

• Reading and interpreting drawings and plans

• Maintaining accurate job records, including works completed, materials used, and time spent

• Providing a high level of customer service and building strong client relationships

• Leading by example on-site and supporting junior team members where required

What We’re Looking For

• A fully qualified electrician with strong service experience

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Professional presentation and strong communication skills

• Solid knowledge of AS3000 and general compliance requirements
