Electric Results delivers electrical contracting, compliance and building services across South Australia. We work across commercial, industrial and facility sites — switchboards, asset testing, emergency and exit lighting, RCD and electrical compliance, and controls. We're a tight, capable team that takes pride in doing the work properly the first time.

The role

We're after a licensed electrician to join our field team full time. You'll work across a mix of installation, maintenance, testing and compliance work — no two weeks the same. You'll also help lead and mentor our apprentices, so we're looking for someone who sets the standard on site.

Day to day you'll:

• Carry out electrical installation, fault-finding and repair on commercial and industrial sites

• Complete compliance testing — RCDs, emergency/exit lighting, switchboard and asset testing

• Lead and mentor apprentices on the job

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and scopes of work

• Complete job paperwork and test records accurately (we run SimPRO)

• Work safely and to AS/NZS standards, every job

• Liaise with clients on site in a professional manner

What you'll bring:

• Current SA A Grade electrical licence

• A high level of care in your workmanship and on site — non-negotiable

• Proven ability to lead and mentor apprentices

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading and mentoring apprentices

• Current driver's licence

• White Card (construction induction)

• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and relevant standards

• Solid fault-finding and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

• Strong safety mindset

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience

Nice to have:

• Test and tag / appliance testing competency

• Experience with emergency lighting and exit systems

• Exposure to BMS / controls or building services

• Confined space, EWP or working-at-heights tickets
