About the business

We are a structural steel manufacturing company with a large volume of work on our books. Our workshop is based in the Northern Suburbs and supplies residential and industrial steel to Melbourne Metro and Greater Victoria.

About the role

We seek experienced Structural Steel Welders who can start with us as soon as possible. This role is afternoon shift. 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Shift Loading applicable.

Rate is negotiable depending on skillset.    

Skills and experience

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Steel.

• Must be able to pass a welder qualification test (Conducted externally) to ISO9606.1

• Ability to read shop drawings.

• Must have experience with Overhead Cranes and be able to demonstrate this.  

• Must prioritise Work Health and Safety and be a team player.

• This is a fast-paced environment, experience is compulsory.
