Industrial Electrician - High Voltage - ASP 2

Are you a master of the grid or civil construction? We are looking for a skilled HV and LV Electrical Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you won't just be "turning things on and off"—you’ll be the backbone of our HV nfrastructure, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical utilities & high-voltage systems.

As part of a newly established division that forms part of our greater business growth strategy, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and emergency repair of critical substation equipment and instalation of critical civil utilites. Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on HV switchgear, underground and overhear wiring, transformers, and circuit breakers.

• Testing & Commissioning: Perform testing and commissioning as part of maintenance and upgrade contracts.

• Fault Finding: Utilise advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex electrical faults within the HV network.

• Safety Leadership: Champion site safety, SWMS, controling risks and quality assurance in accordance with strict Work Health Safety practices.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate site logs, asset registers, and compliance documentation

Technical Requirements & Qualifications

1. Education: Fully qualified and licensed Electrician with HV Operation and or Switching.

2. Certifications/Tickets - LVR, FIrst Aid, Confined Spaces

3. Knowledge: Civil & Mining Construction, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Industrial, Utilities, Renewable Energy, Energy Storage.

4. Compliance: Experience working within best practice and ISO frameworks - quality, safety, environment.
