Boilermaker / Fabricator – Commercial Fuel Equipment
Western Sydney | Day Shift | $62.50/hr + Super + Overtime + Travel Allowance

TRS Resourcing is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers/Fabricators to join a leading manufacturer of fuel tanker trailers, fuel transport equipment, and bunded fuel tanks based in Sydney's Western Suburbs.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, stable workshop role with consistent overtime and ongoing work available on day shift.

About the Role Working within a well-equipped fabrication workshop, you will be involved in the manufacture, repair, and modification of commercial fuel transport equipment.

Duties will include:

Structural steel fabrication and welding
Aluminium and stainless-steel welding
Reading and interpreting engineering and workshop drawings
Jig setup and fabrication assembly work
General workshop fabrication and repairs
Fuel tanker trailer maintenance and modifications

Candidates with experience working in confined spaces, including the installation of baffles and tanker repairs, will be highly regarded.

Skills & Experience Required To be successful, you will possess:

Trade qualification in Boilermaking/Fabrication
Strong welding and fabrication experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience setting up and working from jigs
Sound mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Current Australian working rights
Current residency within the Sydney metropolitan area
Two recent work-related references

Highly Regarded

Confined Space Entry ticket
Previous confined-space welding experience
Experience installing tanker baffles
Fuel tanker trailer repair experience
Background in the fuel transport, tanker manufacturing, or heavy vehicle industry
