About the role

Maclean Tyrepower is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our dynamic team in Maclean, NSW. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently. This is a full-time role with competitive remuneration and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models

2. Conducting scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and tyre rotations

3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues

4. Performing detailed inspections and providing customers with recommendations

5. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety

6. Maintaining accurate records and documentation

7. Collaborating with the team to provide exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualification in automotive mechanics or a related trade

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in an automotive workshop

3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

5. Good communication and customer service skills

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment

7. Current driver's licence and own tools
