QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• QLD Electrical Workers Licence (Mandatory)

• Cert II in Split System Air-Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (Desirable)

• SAA Grid Connect, Hybrid and SPS Accreditation (Desirable)

• ACMA Open Cabling Licence (Desirable)

• QLD Driver's Licence (Manual desirable)

• High Risk Work Licence – EWP Over 11m (Desirable)

• Working at Heights (Desirable)

• Construction White Card (Desirable)

• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices will also be considered depending on experience.

• Applicants must have Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Residential On-Grid and Off-Grid Solar and Storage – Installation, service, and maintenance of grid-connect, hybrid battery, and stand-alone power systems. We install only top tier Solar and Storage Equipment from AIKO Panels to Sungrow, Sigenergy and Tesla Solar Inverters and Storage.

• Commercial and Rural Solar- We currently hold multiple contracts installing solar on high-rise and warehouse new builds, as well as designing and constructing large-scale ground mount solar systems — one of which was awarded Ground Mount Solar System of the Year for Australia and New Zealand.

• Insurance- Solar and Electrical Insurance Assessments including thermal scans and reports. Replacement of assessed solar and equipment.

• Energy Efficiency – Energy audits, monitoring system installs, power factor correction, EV charger installations and load management, power quality analysis, and voltage regulation.

• Lighting Design – Commercial, domestic, and landscape lighting design, including tree fairy lighting, festoon lighting, and LED strip or neon installations.

• Lightning Protection & Earthing – Installation, servicing, and auditing of conventional (AS1768) and enhanced (Eritech Dynasphere) systems, along with specialist earth testing such as soil resistivity, earth resistance, and earth injection testing.

• Construction Wiring – Working with reputable high-end builders on lead-ins, prewires, cut-outs, fit-offs, air-conditioning, and solar.

• General Electrical – Small renovations, smoke alarm compliance, real estate maintenance, fault finding, data, and communications.
