About Us
We’re looking for a skilled and trade-qualified Vehicle Mechanic or Technician—with either light or heavy vehicle experience—to join our team on a permanent full-time basis in Lonsdale, SA. As an added incentive, we’re offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus for the successful candidate. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of specialized fleet vehicles and equipment.
Whether your background is in light vehicles, heavy vehicles, or plant machinery, we welcome applicants with a strong mechanical skillset and a proactive attitude. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, helping support the smooth operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on light and heavy vehicles or equipment
Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve faults
Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise breakdowns and maximise equipment uptime
Accurately record maintenance and repair work
Complete both scheduled and reactive tasks in a timely, efficient manner
Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

About You
To be successful, you’ll bring:
A relevant mechanical trade qualification (e.g., Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Fitter, or Plant Mechanic)
Experience servicing and repairing vehicles or equipment in a workshop or field environment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A proactive approach to completing tasks and meeting deadlines
Flexibility to work overtime when required
A White Card and HR licence are highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police clearance
