About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team at Blaze Cabinets in Sumner, Queensland. As a full-time Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for residential and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the Cabinet Making industry.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret design specifications to create custom cabinet and furniture pieces

• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and tools to measure, cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications

• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or an apprentice

• Apprentice experience is acceptable and will count towards the minimum 3-year experience requirement

• Trade certificate in cabinet making is required

• Any recognised trade certificate in cabinet making will be accepted

• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and safety protocols

• Essential experience with CNC machines, edge bander, and panel saw is required

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and technical drawings

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Australian work rights are required for this position
