Join a Legendary Team Powering Caterpillar Equipment Across Tasmania
At William Adams, we're more than a Caterpillar dealer. We're a team of trusted experts who keep Tasmania's industries moving.
We're looking for an experienced Field Service Diesel Technician to join our Launceston team, supporting customers across the state. If you enjoy working independently, solving technical problems and getting out where the machines are, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.
Reporting to the Launceston Branch Supervisor, you'll diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment directly on customer sites throughout Tasmania. This is a role that offers genuine variety, autonomy and responsibility, with no two days the same.
One day you could be troubleshooting a machine on a quarry site, the next carrying out major repairs on equipment supporting a customer hundreds of kilometres away.
Regular travel and overnight stays are part of the role, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the field service lifestyle. To support work-life balance, we offer flexibility with a choice of either a 5/2 roster (Monday to Friday) or a 7/7 roster (Thursday to Wednesday).
