We have a rare opportunity for a trade qualified Electrician to join our very experienced camp maintenance team.

The Opportunity

• As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued smooth operation and maintenance activities on our NMC Camps. You will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintenance, repair, test, installation and commissioning of electrical plant and equipment

• Providing support (onsite & phone) to Camp Staff and our Clients to resolve electrical issues at the Camps

• Preventative maintenance activities

• Completing required paperwork including checklists and HAZOB’s, and closing out of jobs using maintenance system MEX

About you

• Positive, can-do attitude

• 3 years’ experience maintaining electrical plant and equipment

• Excellent fault-finding abilities

• Good understanding of mobile camp operations

• Able to work unsupervised in remote locations

• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen

• You will be working 12-hour shifts so need to be physically fit.

Essential Requirements:

• Current Qld Electrical Fitter/ Electrical Mechanic License (Unrestricted)

• Current C Class Driver's License

• Current First Aid including CPR & LVR

• Highly Regarded:

• Refrigeration Handling ARC License

• Industry Safety Induction (ISI) Certificate

• 4WD Certificate Weed & Seed Certificate

• IVMS experience
