Due to continued growth across Victoria, we are seeking an experienced residential carpenter to join our skilled and supportive team.
About the Role:
This full-time role (5 days per week) involves working across projects throughout Melbourne and occasionally regional Victoria. Projects are typically short duration (1–3 days per site) and focus primarily on fixing and finishing work for modular residential buildings.
You will work both independently and as part of a close-knit team, with a balance of hands-on carpentry and quality oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Residential carpentry and fix-out work
Cabinetry installation
Hanging doors, architraves and skirtings
Assisting with modular building installations
Supporting other trades on site as required
General handyman and maintenance tasks
Quality control and minor coordination/administrative tasks
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a qualified carpenter
Strong experience in residential construction, particularly fixing and finishing
Your own reliable, presentable work vehicle
Your own tools
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
White Card and full Australian working rights
Living in or near Melbourne’s Bayside area is preferred.
Benefits:
$80,000 – $100,000 salary per annum, depending on experience
