Qualifications & experience

  • Australian Certified Level III Mechanical Trade or equivalent which is Australian recognised

  • Minimum of 3 years of fitting experience is required for this position

  • A valid HRW (LF Forklift) License would be advantageous but not essential

  • Experience in agricultural equipment manufacturing is preferred but not essential

  • You must be able to pass a pre-employment medical with a drug & alcohol screener


Tasks & responsibilities

  • Interpret & fit/assemble equipment according to drawings and schematics

  • Experience with & understanding of hydraulic systems is required to effectively work with hydraulic fittings and components.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and assist, motivate and mentor the team to meet workshop goals

  • Undertake and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Assist leading hands with resource planning and training

  • Work towards team goals and deadlines without compromising quality assurance and safety

  • Monitor quality assurance and safety
