Full time 38 hrs.  IMMEDIATE START. 4 day work week

6am – 4pm Monday to Thursday

Your day -to- day activities may vary and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee workshop, run jobs from work allocation to completion to a high standard.

  • Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to within the workshop and on-site.

  • Ensure tool and machine maintenance and repairs are scheduled and performed.

  • Support the owner with quoting, workflow management, and developing junior staff.  

  • Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Welding & fabricating a variety of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminum. 

  • Reading and interpreting drawings & specifications

  • Occasional on-site work 

  • Operation of CNC machinery

  • QA outgoing work.

The Applicant

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Trade Certificate 3 Fabricator / Sheet Metal qualification 

  • Experience in MIG and TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum to a high standard

  • Previous supervisory experience in the industry

  • Clear, courteous & professional communication skills

  • Committed to safe working practices 

  • Eye for detail and delivers consistently high-quality workmanship

  • Forklift license would be an advantage but not a requirement

Dealing in domestic, commercial and custom metalwork projects across a wide range of industries and sectors.  We have long standing relationships with well-known companies servicing their on-site repairs and maintenance requirements and are taking on new customers daily and investing back into the business.

About You:


This opportunity would suit if you have experience managing a team or are ready to take the step into a Workshop Foreman position.  

You are a self-motivated person who takes pride in your work and shows an eye for detail.  You bring a positive attitude to a team environment and can comfortably interact with customers in a professional manner, building credibility and trust.

You will need to demonstrate you can work well with minimal supervision, show good work ethics and have good decision-making skills.

There is some on-site work, so a driving license is essential.
