Salary : $79,000 – $110,000

A highly reputable One Stop Automotive shop in Glynde specialising in standard and customised vehicles in mechanical and crash repairs. A strong focus on customer service and a team of highly trained and specialised skilled mechanics, Auto tuners, Auto Electricians, Panel Technicians and Automotive Refinishers. 

The Glynde Garage has fast become one of Eastern Adelaide's Premier automotive destinations. A fast-growing workshop, we are driven to succeed and pride our self on our outstanding culture, customer service and ability to provide quality repairs. Due to significant growth, we are looking at appointing a Qualified Panel Beater to join our team.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a multi-skilled Panel Beater with experience in European, Australian, and Japanese made vehicles. You will possess the skills of time management, an eye for detail, working well under pressure, taking direction and being part of a dynamic team. We believe in our staff and are always looking at ways of progressing them through new technologies and industry training.

This role is suited to a motivated and energetic individual, who can self-manage, take initiative, and wants to take their career to the next level. You will be a go getter, with a can-do attitude and a team player. 

Role responsibilities

  1. Disassemble vehicle as per Job Sheet.

  2. Repair vehicle as per the Repair Method, OEM standards and in accordance with Estimate and Job Sheet.

  3. Reassemble vehicle.

  4. Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.

  5. Working closely with Workshop Managers

  6. Assist Automotive Body Technician, Automotive Refinisher, Mechanical

    Technicians and Detailers as required

  7. Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition.

  8. Adhere to our OH&S policy including PPE.

Skills

  1. Experienced and Qualified Panel Beater (Essential)

  2. Strong commitment to working safely.

  3. High attention to detail.
