Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Serin Fleet Services are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team located in Maddington for an immediate start.

This is a workshop-based repair/service role, commencing as Casual (8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday) with the opportunity of Full-Time for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

·       Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a variety of Isuzu trucks, prime movers, trailers, dollies and other equipment as required

·       Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns

·       Complete all required documentation, inspection reports and job records accurately and on time

·       Ensure all work performed is completed to a high standard of quality

·       Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment at all times

Skills/Qualifications

·       Unlimited Australian working rights

·       Valid HR Australian Drivers Licence and own reliable transport

·       National Police Clearance

·       Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

·       Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, trailers, mobile plant, or similar equipment

·       Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems

·       Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
