PLC Electrician

About Us

Eastcoast Beverages is a proudly family-owned Australian business with over 50 years of history producing fresh, locally sourced juices and spring water. Based on the scenic Central Coast, we are passionate about sustainability, innovation, and delivering quality from our orchard to your fridge.

The Role

We are looking for a trade-qualified Electrician with solid PLC experience to join our operations team at our Kulnura production facility. This is a hands-on role focused on the reliability, fault-finding, and continuous improvement of our bottling and manufacturing lines.

You will work across fruit processing, pasteurising, blending, semi-automated filling, packing, and palletising systems. If you enjoy variety, prefer working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in keeping things running, this is the role for you.

What You Will Do

•         Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and automation systems across the plant

•         Fault-find and rectify PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar)

•         Program and configure PLC systems as required to support production and improvement works

•         Execute preventative maintenance schedules and keep maintenance records up to date

•         Support production teams with breakdowns and urgent repair work

•         Assist with plant upgrade and capital improvement projects

•         Develop and maintain electrical documentation and procedures

What We Are Looking For

•         Electrical trade qualification (A-grade licence preferred)

•         Demonstrated PLC experience is essential (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar)

•         3+ years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

•         Strong fault-finding skills across electrical systems and control systems

•         Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

•         Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and in a team

•         Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is an advantage but not essential

Why Join Us

•         Stable, long-standing family business with a genuine team culture

•         Variety of work across modern food and beverage manufacturing equipment

•         Central Coast location with easy access from the Hunter and Sydney metro areas

•         Opportunity to take ownership of your plant and grow your skills over time

How to Apply

Apply via Seek with your current resume and a brief cover letter outlining your PLC experience.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly. No agencies please.
