Sales Manager - Qualified Electrician | Melbourne | $100K–$150K + Commission

The Role

We're looking for a qualified electrician who's ready to lead our sales and estimating. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who knows the trade inside out, can build instant credibility with clients, and has the commercial nous to price work accurately and close it confidently.

Candidates must have demonstrable experience in both sales and estimating to lead this role effectively.

A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience is essential for this position.

You'll be the first point of contact for new enquiries — attending site visits, assessing scope, preparing quotes, and converting leads into booked jobs. You'll work closely with our director and admin team, with real input into how the sales function grows.

This role suits someone who's been on the tools, knows what a job actually involves, and is ready to use that knowledge in a different way.

A minimum of 4-5 years of electrical experience is required to demonstrate comprehensive trade knowledge.

What You'll Be Doing

• Attending on-site quote visits across Melbourne and surrounding areas

• Assessing scope of work and preparing accurate, competitive quotes

• Following up leads from our marketing, referral, and repeat client channels

• Converting enquiries into booked and confirmed jobs

• Managing your pipeline and reporting on activity and conversion

• Working closely with the director and field team to ensure smooth job handover

• Representing Electrx professionally at every client touchpoint

What We're Looking For

• A-grade electrical licence

• Strong commercial instincts — you understand margins, not just materials

• Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly with any client

• Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working autonomously

• Experience across residential and/or commercial electrical work

Strong preference for candidates with residential electrical experience.

• Familiarity with quoting tools is a bonus (e.g. Flat Rate Now, ServiceM8)

Australian citizenship is required for this position.
