Project Manager - Commercial Joinery & Cabinet Making

Structural Concepts Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team in Adelaide.

This role is suited to someone with a strong background in commercial joinery and cabinet making who understands the full process from estimating and drafting through to purchasing, manufacture, site coordination, and installation.

You will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish while working closely with our factory, drafting team, suppliers, installers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

About the Role

You will oversee multiple commercial joinery projects including hospitality, retail, office, and custom fit-outs.

The role includes:

• Managing projects from site measure through to completion

• Coordinating drafting, approvals, and production workflows

• Purchasing materials and liaising with suppliers

• Scheduling manufacture and installation

• Managing timelines, variations, and site requirements

• Working closely with factory staff and installers

• Attending site meetings and conducting site measures where required

• Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard

Essential Requirements

• Strong experience in commercial joinery and cabinet making

• Thorough understanding of the full joinery process from start to finish

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

• Experience coordinating purchasing, drafting, manufacture, and installation

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience working with builders, architects, and subcontractors

• Current driver’s licence

Highly Regarded

• Trade background in cabinet making/joinery

• Experience in commercial fit-outs

• Knowledge of CNC manufacturing processes
