About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Cavan site. You will maintain, repair and improve plant and equipment to support safe and efficient production in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding on plant and equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and complete preventative maintenance tasks
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Complete maintenance reports, checklists and permits
  • Support contractor management and participate in toolbox meetings
  • Identify improvement opportunities to increase reliability and efficiency
  • Follow Quality, Food Safety and WHS requirements at all times
  • Participate in weekend and call-out work when required

About you

Essential

  • Trade qualified Electrician (A-Class Electrical Licence)
  • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Current Driver's Licence

Desirable

  • Food or manufacturing industry experience
  • TIG/ARC welding or fabrication skills
  • Forklift, Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, First Aid or BA certification
