Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Electrician to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings alongside other members of the Maintenance Team. What will you do?
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily maintenance tasks for all property equipment and services, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
  • Repair, alter, and maintain site electrical services and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure proper maintenance of all plant and equipment, including recording completed and incomplete maintenance tasks and generating necessary reports
  • Conduct small projects and address daily maintenance needs across the property to uphold operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including adherence to preventative schedules and compliance with workplace health and safety standards

More about you
  • QLD Electrical License or ability to obtain
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to communicate with various stakeholders in the business
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a team
