MECHANICAL FITTER TRADESPERSON

About the business and the role

Due to industry demand and business expansion, we are looking for a new Mechanical Fitter Tradesperson to join our dynamic team, Must be a tradesperson.

Ontrak Engineering is a family-owned business, supplying to the mining industry for over 26 years. We service both domestic and international markets. There is long term sustained growth within our business with long term opportunities for the right candidates.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and specifications

• Develop ability to read work with heavy machinery

• Work with hand and power tools

• A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible, reliable and show initiative

• Repair and maintain mining machines

Skills and experience

• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of mechanical equipment.

• Reliable and punctual attendance to work

• The ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised

• Self motivated with excellent communication skills

• Quick learner and adapts to changes without debate

• Attention to detail

• Manufacturing and Fabrication experience
