We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join the workshop team for welding duties for the repair and reinforcement of scaffolding and formworking materials.

What You'll Do:

• MIG Welding on steel screens/mesh and other associated scaffolding/formworking equipment.
• Majority welding of galvanised steel, approx. thickness of 3-10mm.
• Necessary preparation of galvanised steel prior to welding.
• Lay out, position and align squares and jig relevant to steel dimensions.
• Managing and minimising weld porosity.
• Assessing damaged steel and grinding out cracked welds
• Identifying and reinforcing weak points
• Maintaining of general workshop tidiness and organisation.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2-5 years demonstrated experience in MIG welding.
• Welding/Fabrication qualifications highly regarded, not required.
• Experience working in a similar workshop environment highly regarded.
• Ability to complete high volume of welds and maintain consistency across repetitive works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings as required.
• Ongoing compliance with required PPE expectations.
