Recycling Plastics Australia is seeking an experienced Night Shift Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Kilburn recycling facility.
This full-time role operates on a 7 shifts on / 7 shifts off roster, working 12-hour night shifts, providing excellent work-life balance with half the year effectively off while maintaining full-time employment. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our recycling plant.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime
Install, upgrade and modify electrical components as required
Ensure all work complies with electrical and safety regulations
Support plant operations and work collaboratively with the maintenance team
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
Trade-qualified Electrician with a current electrical license
Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of plant equipment and electrical safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
7 on / 7 off roster working 12-hour night shifts
