Recycling Plastics Australia is seeking an experienced Night Shift Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Kilburn recycling facility.

This full-time role operates on a 7 shifts on / 7 shifts off roster, working 12-hour night shifts, providing excellent work-life balance with half the year effectively off while maintaining full-time employment. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our recycling plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment

  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime

  • Install, upgrade and modify electrical components as required

  • Ensure all work complies with electrical and safety regulations

  • Support plant operations and work collaboratively with the maintenance team

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records

About You

  • Trade-qualified Electrician with a current electrical license

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

  • Good understanding of plant equipment and electrical safety standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
