Position Title : Painter / Foreman
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (some weekend work on occassion)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Painter / Foreman to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident both on the tools and in leading a team. You will be responsible for completing high-quality painting work while also supervising projects, coordinating trades, and ensuring jobs run smoothly from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their leadership skills within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting works to a high professional standard

  • Prepare surfaces including sanding, patching, and priming

  • Apply paints, coatings, and finishes efficiently and accurately

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Work collaboratively with other team members and trades

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site painting teams

  • Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and meet client expectations

  • Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are achieved

  • Liaise with clients, builders, and other trades on-site

  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks

  • Ensure compliance with Work health and safety requirements and company policies

  • Organise materials, equipment, and workforce allocation

  • Report progress, issues, and completion updates to management

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a painter

  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, products, and finishes

  • High attention to detail and workmanship

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the painting or construction industry

  • Strong knowledge of painting processes, products, and finishes

  • Ability to manage multiple sites and teams

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Working with children's check(required)

  • White Card (required)

  • Driver’s licence (required)

  • Police check (required)
