We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembler/Mechanic to join our Truck Build team in Laverton North. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying trucks and equipment to meet customer specifications, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with Australian standards.

We are looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. You will bring:
Experience in mechanical assembly, vehicle fitment, or a similar role
Ability to interpret and follow technical specifications and procedures
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
A proactive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Self-motivation and initiative in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Relevant trade qualification or TAFE studies
Previous experience within automotive, truck, or heavy equipment industries
As part of the Truck Build team, you will:
Assemble fuel tank systems and components on prime mover trucks
Modify and install truck components to meet customer requirements
Install air brake systems, bull bars, bumpers, and electrical components
Fit telematics, navigation systems, and wiring modifications
Conduct quality checks, testing, and inspections of completed builds
Prepare vehicles and equipment for dispatch (including detailing and packaging)
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Support stock handling, picking/packing, and inventory processes
Operate vehicles and machinery within site requirements
