Fleischer Continental Cakes is an established bakery and patisserie, known for quality, consistency, and traditional craftsmanship. We hold ourselves to a high standard — everything we produce is handmade and made in-house daily.
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our production team on a 30–38 hours per week roster with a 7:00am start.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily production of cakes, pastries, slices and desserts
• Finishing, decorating, and maintaining presentation standards
• Quality control and consistency across all products
• Efficient prep and production to meet daily deadlines
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety procedures
About You
• Proven pastry experience in a commercial bakery/kitchen
• Minimum 2+ years of pastry experience in a commercial bakery/kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail, speed, and consistency
• Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Availability for rostered weekend work (as required)
