About the Role:
This position based in Adelaide, SA is an exciting role where you will be part of the development and growth of the Tadano footprint in SA servicing Tadano Cranes.
We are expanding our SA footprint and as a greenfield autonomous Senior Service Technician role you will have the benefit of autonomy as well as being an integral member of the Tadano Service team based in Victoria through reporting and support of the VIC/NSW Branch Manager, technical support teams and Workshop service teams, as well as admin support.
As the go-to SA Tadano Senior Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Tadano equipment, predominantly providing in-the-field client support on customer sites throughout South Australia and ensuring that our clients receive the best service possible.
We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver who is ready to take ownership of the SA field service and continue our crane customer service excellence. Whether you are troubleshooting complex issues or performing routine maintenance, your work will make a real impact on our growing business in South Australia.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
Applicable Mechanical Trade Qualification
Demonstrated experience as a Senior Service Technician or in a similar technical role
Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
A customer-centric mindset with excellent communication skills
A valid driver’s license (and the ability to travel to various job sites).
Ability to effectively repair and maintain plant, machinery and equipment
Ability to work safely and in compliance with HSE guidelines
Ability to write and interpret reports, work plans and carry out electronic business correspondence.
Ability to work overtime or travel to suit operational needs
Achieve daily planned maintenance targets including inspecting and reporting on completed maintenance tasks
Keeping accurate daily work records and report any issues, including necessary repairs to Supervisor
Ensure that workshop store stock and critical spares levels are maintained and updated when necessary
