Boilermaker / Welder – Karratha

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Boilermaker / Welder for a short-term project in Karratha. The primary focus of this role will be carrying out repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers, dollies and related transport equipment, while supporting other maintenance activities as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding, fabrication and repairs on semi-trailers, dollies and transport equipment
  • Carry out structural repairs and modifications as required
  • Assist with general workshop maintenance activities
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimise downtime
Requirements
  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder or equivalent
  • White Card
  • High Risk Work Licence and/or Forklift Ticket
  • Previous experience with heavy vehicle, trailer or transport equipment repairs
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Additional Information
  • Local Karratha candidates preferred
  • Indigenous candidates strongly encouraged to apply
  • Engagement is expected to be for up to 3 months, however, may conclude earlier depending on operational requirements
  • Potential for ongoing work for the right candidate, although this is not guaranteed
