Boilermaker Welder - Karratha

Boilermaker / Welder - Karratha Region

We are seeking experienced and reliable Boilermakers / Welders to support a variety of projects across the Karratha region within the construction, resources, transport, infrastructure and industrial services sectors.
Successful candidates will be engaged across multiple client sites and projects, undertaking fabrication, maintenance, repair and structural works on a range of fixed plant, mobile equipment, heavy machinery, infrastructure and associated assets. FIFO opportunities may also be available, with rosters to be confirmed based on project requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding, fabrication, maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment, plant and infrastructure assets
- Carry out structural repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance activities
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions
- Inspect equipment and structures to identify defects and repair requirements
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Support workshop, site-based and field maintenance operations as required
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, clients and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and support project delivery
 
Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Welder or equivalent
- White Card
- High Risk Work Licence and/or Forklift Ticket (desirable)
- Previous experience within construction, mining, resources, transport, civil, industrial or heavy industry environments
- Strong welding, fabrication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work from drawings and technical specifications
- Commitment to workplace health, safety and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
