Roadside Assistance Mechanic

About the role

As a Roadside Assistance Mechanic at Autocare Australia pty ltd, you will play a vital role in providing prompt and efficient roadside assistance to our customers throughout Sydney, NSW. This full-time position involves quickly diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues on-site, getting our customers safely back on the road.

What you'll be doing

1. Respond to roadside assistance calls and arrive at the customer's location in a timely manner

2. Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including flat tyres, battery problems, and mechanical faults

3. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers

4. Maintain accurate records of all service jobs and report any issues or concerns

5. Ensure the roadside assistance vehicle is well-stocked and in good working order

6. Collaborate with the wider Autocare Australia team to deliver a seamless service

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a related field

2. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve vehicle issues

3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

4. A valid driver's licence and the ability to drive a variety of vehicle types

5. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
