ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will play an integral role within our workshop team in the Bendigo depot.

You will be conducting and supervising all workshop activities of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles. You will be actively involved in the tuition, mentoring and assessment of apprentices.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

ABOUT YOU

• Have trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles

• Open to Qualified Welders or Auto Electricians that want to upskill

• Reliable and punctual - you show up on time, ready to get the job done

• Able to follow company procedures; be flexible and resourceful enough to adapt on the go

• Physically capable and enough strength to engage in regular manual handling

• Professional and approachable - a friendly face of JJs and a team player

• Safety-conscious and committed to following all policies and procedures

• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test
